Stifness wisdome marriage :)

“Stiffness is a companion in death, flexibility it s a companion in life”

“Wisdom is knowing i am nothing, love is knowing i am everything, and in between        the two my life lies”

I was wondering if i where to chose 1 thing from this world and if i ll ever become shipwrecked at sea what would i chose to take with me…

The first thing that came in my mind was my mat.

I could spend between 300-700 years of yogi life always improving my practice..:) and living in meditation until someone will find me and i will share all the wisdom I’ve acquired 🙂

She is always there when i need her, makes no comments, no judgements.
Loves me unconditionally, respecting my space
Nourishing my body mind and soul
We share such great feelings every day..:)
…….

I, M. Samy , take you, my yoga-mat “The tree of life” , to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

Problems – stress – worries how they affect us

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the “half empty or half full” question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: “How heavy is this glass of water?”

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”

She continued, “The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”

Remember to put the glass down.

“Woman with Flower” by Naomi Long Madgett

I wouldn’t coax the plant if I were you.
Such watchful nurturing may do it harm.

Let the soil rest from so much digging
And wait until it’s dry before you water it.

The leaf’s inclined to find its own direction;
Give it a chance to seek the sunlight for itself.

Much growth is stunted by too careful prodding,
Too eager tenderness.

The things we love we have to learn to leave alone.

Ego-Lao Tzu-Wayne Dyre Change your thoughts – richness – accumulation

The mantra of the Ego is ” MORE…More more more ”

We get bombarded of this idea on having more and having that, and if you don t have it you fell you re incomplete.

When:
You came from nowhere-having nothing, and you re going nowhere-having nothing.

A great teacher said : “The only thing you will carry with you from this life to another is your level of understanding”

Lao Tzu said “When your cup is full, stop pouring”

“If you realize that you have enough you are truly rich”

Just say “Thank you” even if it s the only thing you ll say.

A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking,
because her trust is not on the branch, but in its own wings.
Always believe in yourself.

There is no tragedy, only the unavoidable.Everything has his reason of being, you just have to distinguish what is temporary and what is everlasting.
-What is temporary?
-The unavoidable..
-What is everlasting?
-The lesson of the unavoidable.

Paulo Coelho

I hope i will never forget what i think i have forgotten

Rainy days make you contemplate, reach Into yourself, having thoughts good-positive-negative
I never understood the idea of a God who is something else than love.
When you hear about Shiva, the lord of destruction, you realize that in order for something good to take place you need something from before to destruct.
And in order for a God to be absolute it has to be both.

Waiting for a late bus, my eyes where aiming for the sky. I can see the rain falling…thanks To the light 5 m away from me.
That brought me back to the past. When i was 10-12 years “young” going back from school home ,contemplating. We had a late course and by 5-6.00PM was already night, It was winter, the first snowflakes where about to fall….i was so happy having the thought in my mind, that Christmas will be here soon and i will probably get some chocolate -mandarins-oranges-banana and coca-cola.
It was the only time in the year i was able to get a bag full of that and it had such a big impact, one of the best periods of the year.

We ‘re spoiled now, we can take/have that any second, Without any thankful thought. We take it as granted, But i m happy … Not because i will appreciate more the moments, and i will take less things for granted…
But because life still has hope for me, Reminding me all of the wonderful moments…where you where and what used to be.
When you where happy having a simple life, and when did you actually complicated everything.
That you should be thankful for having those experiences and Trying to appreciate every single one of them bad or worse, because in the end every tragedy in your life it will be just a flash before your eyes.

My master used to tell, that in the end what remains is the understanding of one lesson. For example you will never put your mobile phone to stand on air, you know you need some solid state matter to put your phone on,a table for example. And that is a lesson you took in on previous life or experience.

Paulo Coelho put it this way
“There is no tragedy, only the unavoidable.Everything has his reason of being, you just have to distinguish what is temporary and what is everlasting.
-What is temporary?
-The unavoidable..
-What is everlasting?
-The lesson of the unavoidable.

So thank you God for when i feel disconnected, you connect me back to what s important.
